Executive Order 4/30/2020
On Thursday, 4/30/2020, Governor Kemp signed an executive order that will extend the Public Health State of Emergency until June 12, 2020 at 11:59 PM. This means that the medically fragile and elderly Georgians need to continue to shelter in place through June 12, 2020. This order also will require long-term care facilities – including nursing homes, personal care homes, assisted living facilities, and similar community living homes – to utilize enhanced infection control protocols, ensure safer living conditions, and protect residents and staff from coronavirus exposure.
