The Ben Hill County Department of Health will begin offering testing for COVID-19 on Monday, April 27, 2020. The tests are NOT available to people who show up at the health department without an appointment. Please review the directions below provided by the health department.

People should NOT SHOW UP at the health department, but rather they can call the health department directly OR our hotline number at 1-844-955-1499 beginning at 8:30 AM Monday morning; that is the only way they will get an appointment.  That is the only way they will get access to testing.

They are not taking walk-ins, drive-ups, etc. They MUST call in to be screened and put into the system. This will generate a PUI# and appointment.

If they show up at the health department without a PUI#, they will be told they have to call in so it will be a wasted trip.
