SPC has upgraded the northern half of the area to a moderate risk of severe storms today and tonight.  In addition, WPC has upgraded areas north of Albany to a moderate risk of excessive rainfall.  A flash flood watch is now in effect north of Albany through tonight.

Multiple rounds of severe weather are possible today, particularly across the moderate risk area, which is outlined in the attached slides.  A final round of severe weather is expected overnight in the form of a squall line with widespread damaging winds and a few tornadoes possible along it.  Images depicting the SPC risk areas, flash flood watch, storm total rainfall forecast, and the forecast timing of the final round of severe weather overnight are attached.
