The National Guard was in Fitzgerald today and will be back tomorrow. Today the National Guard was at Pruitt Health cleaning and disinfecting. Tomorrow the National Guard will be at the Life Care Center for the same reason, cleaning and disinfecting.

This procedure is 100% preventive and is not related to any cases of COVID-19 at either facility. The directors at both facilities are doing all they can to protect their patients and staff as part of the Governor’s initiative as well as a preventive measure per our EMA Director. This disinfection by the National Guard will help in this effort.
