This is a message from the Elections Office:

TO ALL BEN HILL COUNTY VOTERS!

Our office is in the process of preparing for our doors to open for voters to vote in the June 9,2020 combined Presidential Preference Primary and the General Primary election.  With the COVID-19 crisis our main priority is the safety of ALL office employees, Poll Officers and voters.

For us to do this and keep everyone as safe as possible we will be implementing some protocols to ensure social distancing and complete sanitization of all equipment. 

Advance voting will begin May 18th, 2020 thru June 5, 2020 and Election Day will be June 9, 2020. If you plan on voting in person on any of these days. Please understand that with the upcoming protocol, getting in and out will not be as fast as usual. Please make provisions for a longer wait time and lines. 

We will provide the protocols as they are finished via our Ben Hill Facebook page, Ben Hill County web page, The Fitzgerald – Ben Hill Chamber, The Herald Leader and our local 96.9 WRDO radio station.
